It was a pleasure to welcome the teams from the National Pacific Media Trust (NPMT) and Pacific Media Network (PMN) to Kirikiriroa/Hamilton yesterday for their Annual General Meeting (AGM) at K’aute Pasifika Fale! It was fantastic to see members of the Hamilton community connect and engage with the team.
The event was MC’d by PMN’s Fijian Producer, Nemai Vucago, and featured contributions from NPMT’s Chair, Sai Lealea MNZM, PMN’s CEO, Don Mann, and PMN’s General Manager, Susana Guttenbeil. The talented broadcasting team also engaged with the theme of – Disrupting the Narrative: Navigating Change and Innovation in New Zealand’s Media Landscape from a Pasifika Perspective.
The NPMT’s mission is to ensure that PMN reflects the diversity of Pacific peoples and communities and shapes New Zealand’s national identity.
