It was great to get behind and support the inaugural Waikato Pasifika Pink Ladies Breakfast at the Award winning Gather Foodhouse Café, Frankton. 

Led by Soteria Iereia-Jones, the purpose of the event is to shed light on and spread awareness for Breast Cancer. We were honoured to hear from Cook Island breast cancer survivor Puapii Daniels-Ngatae on her journey, and how together as a community, we can really impact change in cancer research and development.

The annual event empowers talanoa – sharing information and raising awareness about Pacifica women health issues impacting our families and communities, and how can we together can prevent, mitigate or support this issue moving forward.
