As part of our Wellbeing, Leadership, and Budgeting Series, we held another fantastic workshop on Personal Budgeting last night with financial advisor Theresa Alaimoana. In this interactive session, Theresa spoke to our audience on how to efficiently manage their personal finances, particularly during difficult times. This includes topics on money personalities, setting SMART goals, keeping track of your money, and understanding the difference between good and bad debts. The message was loud and clear when Theresa revealed that she became a homeowner at the age of 19, while working two jobs in high school.
Theresa is the owner of Wellth Care Services and facilitates workshops on budgeting and home ownership. She wears many hats, including owning various businesses in Hamilton, such as Fautasi Retail Shop and Fleet Cleaning Services. She previously worked as a financial advisor at KPMG and was a mortgage broker with Mike Pero Mortgages.
